QuoteToBooked is operated by Merteq, LLC. Merteq, LLC is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

2. What we collect

• Account and contact data — your name, email address, and login credentials
• Proposal content — client names, phone numbers, job site addresses, notes, and job site photos you upload
• Support messages — anything you send us when you ask for help
• Usage and device data — app interactions, device identifiers, and IP address

3. Why we collect it and our legal basis

• Creating your account and providing the service — performance of a contract
• Storing your proposals and photos so you never lose them — performance of a contract
• Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests
• Improving the product and customer support — legitimate interests
• Marketing messages — consent, which you can withdraw at any time
• Meeting tax and legal obligations — legal obligation

4. Who we share it with

• Service providers that host and operate the app (cloud hosting, analytics, support tooling)
• Stripe, our payment processor, for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, and invoicing
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed
• Authorities where required by law

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Proposal content is kept while your account is active and for a short grace period after closure so you can export it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the support channels listed in the app and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit and strict access controls — to protect your personal data.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and save your work in progress. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time; doing so will remove locally saved drafts.
